Park tickets without a fixed admission date can be used to enter the Park by making a reservation for Park admission.
Even if you are staying at a Disney Hotel, you will not be able to enter the Park directly with a Park ticket without a reservation for Park admission.
Reservations for Park admission can be made even on the date of visit, as long as the number of reservations has not reached a certain limit.
